What Parents Have to Say

Trusted by 10,000+ Families Across 30+ Countries

Parents see the difference in their child’s confidence, skills, and interest in chess. Here’s what some of our families have to say.

Jatin Sachdeva, a Kingdom of Chess parent in the UAE, from their video testimonialJatin SachdevaParent · UAE

My child who was shy and wouldn't speak has started interacting in school and forming full sentences independently. Thanks to Sonam Ma'am for her patience.

Krishna, a Kingdom of Chess parent in the USA, from their video testimonialKrishnaParent · USA

She instils this amazing confidence. I don't think we have ever found a teacher as enthusiastic and motivating. My daughter talks about class all week.

Vinod Kumar, a Kingdom of Chess parent in the UAE, from their video testimonialVinod KumarParent · UAE

Before Kingdom of Chess, Ishan sat quietly in every class. Ms Aparna makes kids believe they belong in every conversation. His teacher called to say the improvement was remarkable.

Prakhar Bhatnagar, a Kingdom of Chess parent in India, from their video testimonialPrakhar BhatnagarParent · India

The professional trainers at Kingdom Of Chess have greatly boosted Viaansh’s skills and confidence. Their encouragement has made a world of difference. They have truly exceeded my expectations.

Germany

What parents in Germany ask.

And if it is not answered here, ask a coach on your free call. There is no script and no sales team — just the person who would be teaching your child.

In English. Our coaches are FIDE-certified Grandmasters and International Masters, and every class is taught in English. Chess is a visual language — children follow the board long before they follow every word — and most parents come to treat the English practice as a second reason to stay.

You pick the slot. We schedule around the German school day, so classes sit in the late afternoon or early evening your time. Tell us what suits your week on the free call and we will match a coach to it.

That is what it is for. We coach for rated play, not worksheets: a repertoire your child understands, clock discipline under a real clock, and every tournament game reviewed with a titled coach.

Every coach at Kingdom of Chess holds a FIDE rating — the internationally recognised ranking system used by the World Chess Federation. Beyond the chess credentials, every coach completes a structured, child-focused teaching certification with our training team before their first class, covering communication, patience, and how to make learning engaging for children of all ages.

Absolutely — we welcome complete beginners from age 4. The free demo starts with a skill assessment, so the coach can see exactly where your child is starting from, whether they have never touched a piece or already know the basics. From there we build a personalised plan. There is no fixed curriculum to keep up with; your child moves at their own pace.

Apps are good for casual play, but they cannot explain why a move was wrong, spot the pattern in your child’s thinking, or adapt to their particular weaknesses in real time. Every session here is live with a human expert — not a bot, not a video. It is the difference between a child swimming laps alone and swimming with a coach: the coach spots on day one the habit the child would otherwise reinforce for years.

Through our Smart Dashboard, where session recordings, puzzle assignments, assessment results and coach feedback all sit in one place, available 24/7. We run regular assessments and share progress reports with parents.

A laptop or tablet and a stable internet connection. Once enrolled, your child gets their own login to our online classroom — a live board, the coach’s video feed and interactive tools. The credentials work 24/7, so they can revisit lessons and practise puzzles between sessions.

Child safety is non-negotiable. The classroom is closed and invitation-only: your child cannot be contacted by, or interact with, anyone outside their own coach and classmates. Every coach is background-verified and trained to keep conduct professional and age-appropriate. Parents are welcome to sit in on any class.

Chess builds the things school rewards: focus, logical thinking and problem-solving. The curriculum is designed around how children’s brains develop, and most parents notice a difference in classroom performance within a few months.
