Arun Kataria is a FIDE Master and a Kingdom of Chess student. He represented India at the World Youth Chess Championship in Italy in 2023, took a national medal at the National Juniors Championship, and has been state champion five times across Rajasthan's youth categories. He keeps winning: unbeaten on 8.5/9 at the inaugural LNJ Bhilwara FIDE Rapid in April 2026, unbeaten again on 8.5/9 for the 2025 Katni Rapid Rating Open title, and champion of the 2025 Jaipur Rating Open with 8/9.
