The recently concluded District Under-9 Chess Championship 2025 was a proud moment for the entire Kingdom of Chess community. Held in Udaipur, the tournament brought together the brightest young minds from across the district, all competing with discipline, strategy, and passion for the game.

Open Category Achievements

In the highly competitive Open category, our young prodigies made their mark against a strong field of participants.
- 1st Place – Viaansh Bhatnagar
Viaansh demonstrated remarkable consistency and composure throughout the tournament, securing the championship title with a series of calculated, strategic wins. His ability to stay focused under pressure stood out, especially during the final rounds. - 3rd Place – Ayansh Dalal
Ayansh showcased a sharp tactical understanding of the game. His bold play and creative openings earned him a well-deserved place on the podium. - 6th Place – Ayaansh Choudhary
Ayaansh played each game with quiet determination and displayed commendable endurance, finishing in the top ten with strong performances across the rounds.

Girls Category Achievements

The Girls category saw equally impressive results from our young female champions, reaffirming the rising prominence of girls in Indian chess.
- 1st Place – Poushita Paliwal
Poushita’s performance was a masterclass in positional play and endgame technique. She dominated the competition and emerged as the undefeated champion in her category. - 3rd Place – Rhythm Nagpal
Rhythm impressed everyone with her tactical sharpness and fighting spirit. Her confidence at the board and thoughtful calculation earned her a well-earned third-place finish. - 4th Place – Sanchi Jain
Sanchi played with poise and strategy, navigating tough opponents with discipline and resilience. Her near-podium finish is a testament to her growing skill and potential.
