The Kingdom of Chess Rapid Open Chess Championship was successfully conducted at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC), Jaipur, attracting strong participation from leading players across Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, and nearby regions. The event saw intense competition across multiple categories, including the Main Open, Under-17, Under-13, Under-9, Girls, and Senior 50+, making it one of Jaipur’s most diverse chess tournaments of the year.

The championship was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Hari Bhai Bagde, who attended the event as the Chief Guest. His presence added significant prestige to the competition, and he interacted with young players, appreciated their discipline, and encouraged parents to continue supporting cognitive sports like chess. His address highlighted the importance of mental sports in shaping confident and analytical young citizens.

  • 1st Place: Aaditya Dhingra (Rating 2240) – ₹31,000 + Trophy
  • 2nd Place: Varnit Dixit (Rating 1536) – ₹21,000 + Trophy
  • 3rd Place: Akshat Negi (Rating 1873) – ₹11,000 + Trophy

Other top performers included strong entries from Jaipur, Delhi, Udaipur, Kota, Sikar, and Ganganagar, underlining the rising competitive strength in the region.
