Kingdom of Chess (ChessShiksha Ed-Tech Private Limited) is proud to share that we have been awarded a Viability/Ideation Grant of ₹7 Lakhs under the Rajasthan Startup Policy 2022. This decision was approved by the State Level Implementation Committee (SLIC) in its meeting held on 21st August 2025.

Speaking about this achievement, Chandarjeet Rajawat said:
“Our mission has always been to make chess education more accessible and meaningful. With this support, we can scale our programs further and help children not just play chess, but also build life skills like focus, logic, and problem-solving.”
This success is not just a win for ChessShiksha — it’s a step forward for the larger chess ecosystem in India. It shows how chess-based education is now being recognized at the policy level as a meaningful contributor to child development.
At Kingdom of Chess, we share the same vision of making high-quality chess training accessible globally. Together, milestones like these move us closer to a world where chess becomes part of every child’s learning journey.

For students, it means access to a platform that is building the future of chess from India to the world.
The Structured Learning Pathway

One of the reasons ChessShiksha has been recognized is its clear and structured program design. The academy has developed a four-level pathway that takes children from their very first moves all the way to competitive mastery.
Beginner Level (Pawn): Ideal for complete beginners aged 5–15. Children learn piece movement, board setup, and simple checkmates in a fun and interactive format that combines puzzles, practice games, and guided sessions.
Duration: 4 months | 32 sessions.

Every stage is taught in small groups, ensuring personal attention. Parents receive regular updates, and children not only study theory but also practice consistently through guided games and tournaments.
Chess Skills That Stay for Life

The real power of chess lies in the skills it nurtures — skills that extend far beyond the board. Through ChessShiksha’s programs, children develop:
- Focus and patience to sit through challenges.
- Memory and logical reasoning that strengthen academics.
- Confidence and resilience to handle both wins and losses.
- Discipline and consistency that support long-term growth.
These are life skills that benefit every child, regardless of whether they continue chess as a hobby, a passion, or a professional career.
A Shared Vision
We thank the Government of Rajasthan, the State Level Implementation Committee, and the Startup Policy 2022 for believing in our vision. This milestone inspires us to continue our journey of making high-quality chess education accessible globally. This grant marks an important step not only for ChessShiksha but for the entire chess education ecosystem in India. It shows that the government recognizes the role of chess in shaping sharper, more capable young minds.
At Kingdom of Chess, we celebrate this milestone with pride and see it as encouragement to continue our own mission — to make structured, high-quality chess education accessible to children everywhere.
