Is Your Child Ready to Master the Royal Game?

Most parents think chess is “too hard” for beginners — but at Kingdom of Chess, we prove the opposite.

We don’t just teach chess.
We build Intellectual Confidence.

Our Pawn Level – Beginner Course is scientifically structured for children who have never touched a chessboard.

Instead of boring lectures, we teach through:

  • Storytelling

  • Gamification

  • Interactive puzzles

  • Real-time practice

This makes learning fun, addictive, and highly effective.

The Pawn Level Syllabus: From Zero to Chess Hero

Our structured curriculum ensures no child is left behind. We break down complex strategies into bite-sized, fun lessons.

Module 1:

  • Understanding the Board:
Files, ranks, diagonals, and how the chessboard “works.”

  • Meet the Pieces:
How the rook, bishop, queen, and knight move (explained using stories for easy understanding).

  • The King’s Safety:
The most important rule in chess — learning why check & safety come before everything else.

Module 2:

  • Capture & Defense:
How to attack pieces AND protect their own — the foundation of strategy.

  • The Special Moves:
Mastering Castling (king safety), and understanding En Passant (a rare but essential rule).

  • Pawn Promotion:
Turning the smallest soldier into a queen — the moment kids love the most.

Module 3:

  • Check vs. Checkmate vs. Stalemate:
Understanding the difference between threatening, finishing, and drawing the game.

  • Ladder Mate:
The easiest and most common beginner checkmate pattern.

  • Queen & King Mate:
A classic finishing technique every child must master.

  • Introduction to Notation:
Learning to read and write chess moves (e.g., e4, Nf3) — building analytical and academic skills.

FAQ'S

The ideal age to start is between 4 and 6 years old. At this age, a child’s brain is rapidly developing, and chess helps shape neural pathways for logic and pattern recognition.

For our online classes, a physical board is recommended but not mandatory. We use a state-of-the-art digital interactive board where students can move pieces on their screen.

Our “Pawn Level” course is typically completed in 3-4 months (depending on frequency), after which your child will be ready to play full tournament games.

We offer both! You can choose Personal 1-on-1 Coaching for rapid progress or Small Group Classes (4-6 students) to encourage healthy competition and social interaction.
