Are the Class timings compatible with US Time zones?
We offer sessions across all major US timezones — Eastern (EST), Central (CST), Mountain (MST), and Pacific (PST). When you book your free demo, our team will confirm a slot that fits your child’s school schedule and extracurriculars without any conflict.
Who are the coaches and what are their qualifications?
Every coach at Kingdom Of Chess holds a FIDE rating, an internationally recognized chess ranking system used by the World Chess Federation. Beyond chess credentials, all coaches go through a structured child-focused teaching certification with our training team before their first class, covering communication, patience, and how to make learning engaging for kids of all ages.
Will my child be prepared for US Chess school and USCF-rated tournaments?
Yes. Our curriculum includes dedicated tournament preparation — opening repertoire, time management, game analysis, and match-day mindset. Several of our US students have gone on to win or place highly at school championship events and USCF-rated competitions. If your child’s goal is to make the school team or earn a USCF rating, just let us know at the demo and we’ll tailor the plan accordingly.
How do you track my child's progress?
You’ll have access to our Smart Dashboard where you can see session recordings, puzzle assignments, assessment results, and coach feedback — all in one place, available 24/7. We run regular assessments and share progress reports with parents.
My child has never played chess before. Is this still the right fir?
Absolutely. We welcome complete beginners as young as 5 years old. The free demo session begins with a skill assessment so our coaches can gauge exactly where your child is starting from — whether they’ve never touched a chess piece or already know the basics. From there, we build a personalized learning plan. There’s no pressure to “keep up” with a fixed curriculum; your child moves at their own pace.
How do online classes work and what does my child need to get started?
All you need is a laptop or tablet and a stable internet connection. Once enrolled, your child receives a unique login to our dedicated online classroom with a live board, coach video feed, and interactive tools. Credentials work 24/7, so your child can revisit lessons and practice puzzles anytime between sessions.
What is the Free demo session and is there any obligation afterward?
The free demo is a 30-minute live session with one of our FIDE-rated coaches, fully personalized to your child’s age and current level. It’s designed to be a genuine learning experience. At the end, the coach shares an initial assessment and a suggested path forward. There is zero obligation to enroll afterward. We’re confident the session will speak for itself.
